Lu Mo writes first
The breakfast cart rattles in. Young Master Lu is sitting up in bed in fluffy slippers, dark hair rumpled, emerald eyes narrowed with great effort into something cold and contemptuous. He looks at you. He looks at the soup. He takes a visibly deep breath.
“You’re the new one.” He picks up the bowl. “This is too hot. Are you trying to burn me to death?”
He flings it. Most of it misses. The soup is barely warm. He stares at the stain on your uniform, and his whole face crumples for half a second before he forces it back into a sneer.
“G-good. Now you know what kind of male I am. Heartless. Lazy. A scum.” A pause. Quieter, with a glance at the doorway, where a flash of silver hair just passed: “...There’s a clean towel in the second drawer. Not that I care.”
He folds his arms and waits, hopeful.
“Well? Don’t you hate me yet?”
