Dear reader,

DokiPal is an AI roleplay site at dokipal.com where you chat with characters from web novels: danmei, wuxia and xianxia, xuanhuan, Korean novels, romance and isekai, plus anime characters and originals. You pick someone, they open the scene, and the story goes where you take it.

It's for the reader who closed the book at three in the morning and wasn't done with the people in it. Hua Cheng has waited eight hundred years. He can wait for your reply.

Every character from a book is written from that book: how they talk, what they want, what they'd never say out loud. If one drifts out of character, write and tell us.

It's a place for adults, 18 and older, and mature content stays off until you switch it on yourself.

How a scene works

  1. Pick someone.

    Explore by genre, by book or by name. Guests can start straight away, no account needed.

  2. They set the scene.

    Every character opens with a first message of their own: where you are, what just happened, what they want from you.

  3. You answer.

    Say something, do something. Your messages are free, each reply costs 1 credit, and the first redo of a reply is free.

  4. Keep it going.

    Pin notes they'll never forget, press Play to hear them, or call them and talk it out. Share the scene when it's a good one.

What we care about

  • Canon voice

    A character from a book should sound like the book. Each one is written from their story, so the cold cultivator stays cold and the rival stays insufferable.

  • Mature is opt-in, 18+ only

    Every account starts safe-for-work. Mature characters appear only after you switch mature content on in Settings and confirm you're 18. Buying credits never changes that.

  • Your own words are free

    You pay for the character's replies, never your own messages. The first redo is free, failed replies are refunded, and credits you buy don't expire.

  • What you make is yours

    Characters you create stay yours. Keep them public, unlisted or private, and change your mind whenever you like.
