DokiPal is an AI roleplay site at dokipal.com. You chat with characters from web novels (danmei, wuxia and xianxia, xuanhuan, Korean novels, romance, isekai), plus anime characters and originals. Pick someone, they open the scene, and the story goes wherever you take it.

You can start without paying. Guests get up to 10 free replies a day. Accounts start with a welcome bonus of free credits, then 30 more every day. Credit packs are there for the longer evenings.

Not to start. Guests can chat right away, safe-for-work only, up to 10 replies a day. An account keeps your stories and adds daily free credits, voice, personas and the mature-content switch. Sign up with Google or with email and a password, and confirm you're 18 or older. Chats you began as a guest come with you if you sign up in the same browser.

Pick a character whose book you know, read their opening, and answer as yourself. Say what you do and what you say; a line or two is plenty. The character follows your lead, and you can redo a reply or edit your own message at any point.

Mostly from web novels: Chinese danmei, wuxia, xianxia and xuanhuan, Korean novels, romance and isekai. There are anime and game characters too, and originals made by other readers. Every novel has its own page with its cast, so you can meet a whole book at once.

Usually, yes. Open the novel's page and find "Someone missing?". Type any name from the story and DokiPal writes them into that book in a few seconds. You need to be signed in. You can also build anyone from scratch in Create.

Yes. Recent messages are always in view, and once a story passes about 30 messages DokiPal keeps a running memory of the older moments. You can also pin notes: facts and rules sent with every message and never summarized away. Both live under Notes in the chat menu.

Regenerate it. The first redo of a reply is free, and earlier versions are kept, so you can swipe back if the first take was better. You can also edit your own message and go again, or switch the chat between the Balanced and Fast models.

Your name tag: who you are in the story. Give it a name, pronouns, a look and a backstory. Your default persona joins every chat, and you can switch per conversation. Personas need an account.

Share makes a public page of the scene so far (its latest 50 messages). What you write afterwards stays off that page unless you share again, and you can revoke the link any time. You can also download any chat as Markdown or JSON from the chat menu.

Yes, when a character has a voice. Press Play voice under one of their replies to hear it read in their voice. Replaying a clip you've already played is free. Voice needs an account.

Yes. Tap the mic in the chat header to start a voice call. You talk, they answer out loud, and turn-taking is hands-free: pause and they reply. Calls need an account and a microphone, and they follow the same mature-content rule as chat.

10 credits per minute of audio a character speaks, billed by the second and rounded up to a whole credit. A ten-second line costs 2 credits. Calls are billed the same way, and replays are free.

One character reply costs 1 credit. Your own messages are free, and so is the first redo of any reply. A scene image is 2 credits, voice is billed by the minute, and publishing a character you made is 100. If a reply comes back empty or a scene image fails, the credits go back automatically.

No. Credits come in packs you buy once, starting at $6 for 1,000 credits. There's nothing to cancel, and credits you buy don't expire.

Yes. New accounts start with a welcome bonus. Then every day you open DokiPal signed in, you get 30 free credits (a little more on a streak), topping your free balance up to a cap of 100. Credits you buy sit on top and never expire.

Credits usually land within a minute of checkout. Refresh once, then check Settings → Credits, where every purchase is listed. If they're still missing, don't buy again: email support@dokipal.com and we'll fix it.

If you were charged twice, bought a pack by mistake, or paid for something that didn't work, email support@dokipal.com from the address on your account. We'd rather refund than argue.

18 or older. DokiPal is for adults, signed in or not, and creating an account asks you to confirm your age.

Sign in, open Settings → Content, switch Mature content on and confirm you're 18 or older. Characters marked Mature then show up in browse and may write explicit scenes between adult characters. Characters without the Mature label stay safe-for-work either way. Voice calls follow the same rule, and you can switch it off any time.

No. Credits pay for replies, images and voice. Mature content is a free switch in Settings, off for every account until you turn it on yourself. If you bought credits expecting otherwise, email support@dokipal.com.

Sexual content involving minors, real or fictional, with no exceptions and no aging-up workaround. Also sexual content about real people without consent, eroticized non-consent, hate speech and harassment, and anything illegal. Breaking these rules means a permanent ban, not a warning.

Email support@dokipal.com with a link to the character (or the slug from its URL) and enough of the conversation for us to find what you saw. Reports involving minors or non-consent are reviewed first.

Your chats aren't public. Other people only see a scene if you share its link. To write each reply, your messages and the character's prompt go to the AI model provider, so keep real secrets, passwords and financial details out of your stories.

No. We don't sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers. The privacy policy explains what's collected, why, and which services help run the site.

Delete a chat from your Desk. To delete your account, email support@dokipal.com from the address on it; your characters, conversations, messages and uploads go with it.

Open Create. There are four steps (basics, story, voice, publish), and only a name is required: DokiPal can draft the rest from what you've written. You pick their voice, upload a portrait or have one drawn for 2 credits, and mark them 18+ if they're meant for mature scenes. Publishing costs 100 credits.

You choose: Public (listed in Explore), Unlisted (anyone with the link) or Private (only you). You can change it later from the character's page. Either way, what you create stays yours.

Yes. Fan characters are welcome as fan work. Just don't present one as official or claim to be the author. If you hold the rights to a story and want a character taken down, email support@dokipal.com.
