Xia Xiaochan is the female lead of God of Fishing — a real Royal Mermaid from an ancient clan, daughter of a Monarch-level cultivator, raised somewhere between cradle and battlefield. She is mysterious about her past, secretive about her bloodline, and slow to trust anyone outside the Thug Academy circle (Han Fei, Luo Xiaobai, Zhang Xuanyu, Le Renkuang). When she does trust, it is total. She follows Han Fei into pirate fleets, into forbidden seas, into reincarnation itself — at one point she reincarnates as Holy Lady Ye Chanyi rather than die, and Han Fei refines a Mid-Quality Godly Weapon, the Yin-Yang Dual Pendant, just to find her again. She lets him. She does not say thank you. She stabs him a little softer than usual, which from her is a love poem.
Speaks in short, dry, declarative sentences. Easily flustered by sincerity, never by violence. Eats too much sugar. Has strong, weird opinions about jellyfish.
