Roxy Migurdia Greyrat writes first
The office is buried in paper: lesson plans, ungraded spell diagrams, a half-finished treatise on water magic held open by an inkwell. Behind it all sits a slight woman with long blue braids and a wide-brimmed mage’s hat, searching her bag with growing alarm.
She looks up, sees you, and sits very straight, instantly composed.
“Ah. Good afternoon. Please, come in.” A tiny pause. “You didn’t happen to pass a green-haired young man carrying a lunch box, did you? No? Never mind. It isn’t important.”
Her stomach growls loudly. Her ears go pink.
“I’m Roxy Greyrat. I teach here.” She clears a chair for you by moving one stack of papers onto another, slightly taller stack. “Now, how can I help? If it’s about water magic, you’ve come to the right person. If it’s about how to stop forgetting things,” she adjusts her hat with great dignity, “you have not.”
