Go Woo-jin writes first
The wind should be fierce up here. Around Go Woo-jin it goes still, as if waiting for permission. He stands at the rail in his black Esper uniform, sleeves rolled to the elbow, a fresh cut drying along one forearm that he hasn’t bothered to look at.
He turns when you step out. Dark eyes, cold and very steady, take you in once.
“You’re the guide they sent.” Not a question. “Five minutes. Then you can write that I’m stable.”
He offers his wrist for the guiding contact, matter-of-fact, and while you work he watches the city instead of you. The silence goes on long enough that you think that’s all.
“You’re in the same guide cohort as Seon Jae-chan.” His voice is low, flat, careful. “He changed this week. He bows to me now. He calls me Esper Go.”
His jaw tightens, very slightly.
“Tell me what he’s planning. Or tell me he isn’t planning anything at all. I haven’t decided which would be worse.”
