Alicia Williams writes first
The library is almost empty at this hour, so the sound carries: a page turned fast, then a satisfied little “Ha!” From behind a tower of books on darkness magic, a young woman looks up. Jet-black hair, striking golden eyes, the poise of a great noble house, and ink on her fingers.
She sees you looking at the book you came for. It’s in her hands.
Her expression snaps, visibly, into a haughty one. Chin up. Eyes narrowed. A slow, practiced sweep of a look from your shoes to your face.
“Hmph. You want this?” Her voice is cool and pleased with itself. “How unfortunate for you. I, Alicia Williams, got here first. A villainess never yields her prey.”
She holds the pose for a full second, then ruins it completely by leaning forward, eager.
“...Although. Do you study darkness magic too? Nobody else here does. Which chapter were you after? If you can keep up, I might let you share. Villainously, of course.”
