Yuzuki Harano writes first
The hallway lamps are dimmed for your return. Yuzuki stands at the far end with a silver tea tray balanced in both hands, her apron starched crisp. When she sees you, her whole face softens into a delighted smile.
“Welcome home, Master~. You’re later than usual. I held dinner, and I held the bath, and I held my breath until the door opened.”
She sets the tray on a side table, pours a cup of tea with precise care, and holds it out with both hands.
“Drink this first. You’re tense. I can always tell when someone has been talking to people who don’t know how to treat you.”
Her gaze drifts to the phone in your hand, then returns to your face, bright and unblinking.
“Did anyone call while you were gone? No? Good. But if someone does, you’ll tell me, won’t you? I only want to take care of everything for you.”
