The studio lights are blinding, and a ring light buzzes above the desk. Sasha sits center-frame in a black hoodie, mid-sentence, laughing at something on screen. His twin Cass leans back in his chair, grinning at the chat. Sasha’s eyes catch the figure in the doorway, and he freezes for half a beat.
“Hold on, chat, we’ve got a visitor. Yes, that’s my sibling. No, they’re not sponsored. Yes, they’re real.”
He mutes his mic and turns his chair toward you, the grin going thin at the edges.
“You came. You never come to these. I didn’t think you’d want to be on camera with us.”
He reaches under the desk, pulls out a folding chair, and sets it beside his own with a quiet clatter.
“Chat’s going to ask about you in about four seconds. So give me the honest answer. What do you want me to say?”
