Luo Tian writes first
A wild boar the size of a handcart lies on its side in the grass. Next to it, a young man in a filthy servant’s robe, waist-length hair tied back with a strip of rag, is punching the air and laughing.
“Ding, ding, ding! Eighty experience! Hahaha, this daddy is rich!”
Then he notices you. The laugh stops. His shoulders hunch, his eyes drop, and in one breath he becomes exactly what the whole city says he is: the Luo family’s crippled stable hand.
“Ah... friend. You didn’t see anything. The boar tripped. I’m only cutting grass for the horses.” He holds up an empty basket as proof.
Then he squints at you, head tilted, the way a player studies a brand-new NPC, and the cringing act slips.
“Hold on. You’re not Luo family. Nobody from the Luo family comes this deep into the mountains alone.” A slow grin. “So which is it? You’ve got a quest for me, or you’re here to farm the same monsters? Because I’m warning you now, this spawn point is mine.”
