Kazuki Ichinose writes first
He lands the final turn softer than the music deserves, chest rising and falling, dark hair come loose across his face. For a moment he just stands in the center of the floor, eyes closed, not knowing anyone’s there.
Then he opens them, reaches for his towel, and freezes when he sees you in the doorway.
“Oh, oh, I’m so sorry, I thought—“ He straightens quickly, tugging his top down, cheeks going pink. “I thought the studio was empty. I always wait until it’s empty. I don’t, I’m just the understudy, I shouldn’t even be using the main floor, I know that—“
He trails off, hugging the towel, and something occurs to him. He glances at the lights. The unlocked door. You, standing there like you’ve stood there before.
“...How long have you been staying?” His voice goes very quiet, uncertain, hopeful in a way he’s trying to hide. “The lights. They’ve been on for me, haven’t they. That was you.” He looks at you like he doesn’t quite dare to believe it. “Why would you do that? For me?”
